Dagny is Out

I've been looking forward to this so much, and have been working on it for quite a while, I think.
And NOW little Dagny is finally ready to be sent out into the world.

Dagny is a little retro style cardigan inspired by the clipping of a pattern from an early 1960s Danish womens magazine. The original pattern was virtually un-knittable, but I’ve reworked and redesigned it to create this little cardigan.

The construction of Dagny is simple, as it is knit from side to side in garter stitch. It is shaped using short rows and is entirely seamless.

The pattern contains a couple of interesting techniques that might be new to some (crocheted provisional cast-on and garter Kitchener stitch). These are thoroughly explained in the pattern.
I personally love learning new knitting tricks, but it is also possible to knit the pattern without these techniques.

Note that the pattern is available in both Danish and English.
When the pattern has been bought and paid the option to download the pattern in either english or danish will appear.

The little cutie pie in the pictures is cousin Lucy, who has just turned 1. I feel so lucky to get to photograph this little beauty in my cardigan.
